Okay, I know what you’re thinking. Second Home… vegetarian??? Don’t worry. Chef Bolton would surely miss pork too much to go veggie for good. Heck, people would riot if they couldn’t get their “Daddy D’s “ Cheesesteak and Tequila Carnitas Quesadilla.
Just this one day of the week meat and veggie lovers unite for a menu of epic proportions. Meatless Monday is here! It started with some of our favorite vegetarian items already on the menu like the Red and Gold Beet Fettuccine and our ever popular Caprese Salad. Then, in true Second Home fashion, we took it to the next level. We took the soul of Second Home comfort food and infused it into our new meatless dishes. Each is lighter fare with a cozy and comfortable side. Who says you can’t have the best of both worlds. So far the Bucatini Aglio and the Artichoke White Pizza have been a huge hit. With new dishes each week, give Meatless Monday a try and look for Steamed Artichokes, King Oyster Mushroom Risotto and the Veggie Tacos on our menu soon.
